Swakopmund

Hello everyone

In swakopmund at the moment which is quirky coastal town surrounded by huge sand dunes - it really is quite a sight! Jack and i just had a breakfast at the Out of Africa Cafe - my sandwich cost me 1 pound - never going to starbucks or costa ever again thats for sure!

Anyway quick update -

we left for aba huab but on the car journey there jack started vommitting uncontrollably - he had a vey high temperature as well as sweating then going hot and cold. Once at twyfelfontein we realized that what he had was pretty much the malarial symptoms - we panicked a little and not wanting jack to die on us we packed up immediately and left for windhoek - about 7 hours away! we arrived there at about 2 in the morning and had no luck with any hospitals so camped on the side of the road till about 6 and then managed to get him checked out at the medi clinic - they also thought he had suspected malaria but thankfully after being on a drip for about 5 hours he was cleared. Anyway he is OK now and we all really enjoyed our day camping at the unbelievable spitzkoppe! the place was really out of this world!!

Anwyay im off to book in for some quadbiking and sandboarding so i must go!!
