The morning bus ride (9-hours in total with the CTM bus line) took me north to the legendy town of Fes. On the bus I met Adilson, a 67-year old Brazilian man who was traveling around Western Africa. Tanning the Day Away

Workers tan the various materials (leather, camel, etc.) using the large vats within the city walls.

Feel the Rhythm

This trio wander the narrow alleys of the Medina and play for money.

Getting a Lesson

I heard children singing and peaked my head in a door to find this small school. I was invited in and even stood and recited the ABCs.

Savoir Faire

I first met this man at a cafe while watching the Barcelona football match. I then bumped into him on the street in the old city and then again here in the Center Noivelle. Three times a charm! By the way, he was wearing the same outfit all three times.

I play football with some kids outside the Medina.

I cautiously hold two snakes and try and smile for the photo.

Colors

Part of the old city wall is colored with this purple vegetation...I just liked the view.

Water Wheel

While wandering the back alleys with Adilson, we came across this small stream and wheel.

Helping Hands

Three men work to fix the one man's cart.
