We landed in Nairobi last night and go to the hotel exhausted. The flight was good although very long. We had a brief lay over in Amsterdam. The city was very beautiful as it was covered in a fresh thick white blanket of snow. On the airplane, we were fortunate to have an amazing view of the Swiss Alps, the Nile as well as the Sahara Desert. The desert was much bigger than we expected and was amazing to see.
Tonight we will spend a quiet evening in the hotel to celebrate New Years and begin our safari at 7am tomorrow.
