Christmas Eve was spent on the Nile Cruiser, Pioneer II, one of thousands of very similar passenger cruise ships on the Nile river. The dining room was decked out with lots of Christmas decorations, and dinner was a mammoth seven courses, followed by a music and dancing in lounge bar (renamed the smoking bar, due to the incessant smoking smell throughout it) There are some interesting laws here in Egypt, one of those are that any foreigner going on a Nile Cruise ship, must spent exactly three nights or one week, sounds like a minimum spend law to me. After the excitement of Abu Simbel the ancient Egyptian temples begun in earnest on this Christmas day. A visit to the at Kom Ombo Temple and the Temple of Horus at Edfu.

Walk like an Egyptian
I can see you're walking like an Egyptian Dean! Looks a bit warmer than Mt Sinai!
