Day 6

Sorry for not writing sooner, no internet access in Cairo that was easily accessable.
Arrived fine in Cairo, bloody HOT. Hostel on roof top and view over Cairo but millions of cats trying to eat our food. Now expert in getting "hospitality" from ppl trying to sell papyrus and perfumes. Egyption ppl friendly and mostly speak good English- but Pete, Russ is taking your advice if they dont understand he is just speaking louder!

Went to 3 pyramids, step pyramid, mephis (Elivis wasnt there!) Giza and Saqqara, saw Sphinx. Russ walked like an Egyption. Had a ride on Michael Jackson the camel, sadly he didnt moon walk, just swayed violently. Carina very poor at steering Michael, kept going left. Visited market and Citadel, Barak Obama visited and Cairo had loads of police, maybe not very useful and they had to bump start there vans!!!

Overnight train to Aswan, we thought it was going to be 12 hrs, infact it was over 16, but at least it was air conditioned😊 Even hotted in Aswan about 42 degrees. Tomorrow going to Abu Simbel by armed guard and then gettin on felucca, traditional sail boat, to Luxor.

Russ hasnt burnt his ears yet. Carina has a burnt neck and Egyption belly. Other than that all good.
