I learned about Travelblog in 2006 when some friends of our friends were traveling around the world with their two kids. I loved the web site and waited each week or two for them to post a new blog. At the time my husband and I were getting itchy feet and began to plan our own around the world trip- which we did in 2007. Writing our blogs has enhanced our journey and allowed our families to keep up with us and know that we are safe.
