The wire bush is starting to come in. It itches terribly.
A few days ago after work I was at the gym using a new elliptical machine and experienced a complete brain fart. I was obviously spacing out because when I looked down at the distance meter and read .89 I thought that’s funny, I know that I’m “pushing it out” but a mile under 4 minutes is 2 minutes faster than my best mile time. It took me nearly two minutes to figure out that I was in a country that measures distance by the kilometer.
On Tuesday work sent me out in the country to measure and survey a green pasture hill where a proposed freeway extension will run. Tomorrow I’ll finish up the preliminary concept budget estimate for the extension. We paved paradise and put up a parking lot.
It’s now official. Everyone from my original group of acquaintances from the first week of IEP have gone their own way. Kind of sad.
Tomorrow I play my first game of cricket, and it’s competitive. I’ll take photos of the bruises, that is as long as I don’t suffer from a concussion.
Until later.

Metric System
Not only are your distance indications in metric, but the blogs must also be in metric form, because when printing them out, some of the width is not shown and the 8 1/2 X 11. Maybe my computer knowledge is lacking in setting up the printer for these items. Keep them coming and don't scratch the wire brush! Jim
