Holah! I finally got to the hostel after a few hours of being searched for food at the airport. They even took my beef jerky, those creeps. Had a wonderful 4 hours of dozing in my 12 hour flight, but thats life. Luke seems to be in good health. He was fast asleep when I got there at around 9-ish, but woke up to brew his beloved tea. As of now we're planning on staying here till tuesday and then getting a ride with some folks who live outside of Auckland somehwere. Met a guy on the plane who's going down to Antarctica to be a cook for some time. Anyhoo, we're here and alive and all is seemingly well. But you never know.....duh duh duh!!!!!

Thankful the air trip is over! No major headaches? You didn't mention LAX, did you connect with LM? Assume both backpacks made it? So glad you found Luke in that big city! Did either of you buy a phone card yet? Thanks for keeping us posted. We're missing you already! Mom
