Our Backpacks packed and ready for a new adventure.So we had quite the interesting start to our Eurotrip part 3. Tabi and I were visiting with our friends Filip and Lidijia that evening before we had our morning flight to Scotland. At midnight we started to head to the airport since we were planning on sleeping at the airport since our flight was departing at 7:30a.m. On the highway to the airport the car started to overheat. When we were stopped on the side of the road it was discovered that there was no water in the car to cool it down. So Filip and I started to walk somewhere to try to find some water. We eventually found a McDonalds and since the lobby was closed we had to walk though the drive thru. Now I forgot to mentioned Filip just turned 27 that night at midnight...what a way to start off the first hour being 27 and a what a way to start our Eurotrip part 3 (this and we had to deal with our crazy ex housemate that day). We eventually got back to the car and put water in. After 5 minutes or so it would over heat again and we would have to wait

Visiting our lovely couple. and put water in. This continued, but we got to the airport. Poor guy.... we took him to McDonalds for his birthday I mean I felt bad not knowing it was his birthday. I know it wasn't much, but we had a good adventure together. Filip was trying to figure out how he was going to get home since he couldn't drive the car home as it would wreck his engine. Luckily we ran into some tow truck drivers who were also mechanics. They looked at the car and said we (by we I mean Filip) was putting the water in the wrong place...Eventually (even though he was putting it in the wrong hole) Filip found out that he had a leak. We were very luck that we got to spend a part of his birthday with him and we are very thankful for him taking time out and helping us by driving us around Dublin. Either picking us up and dropping us off for connecting flights and trains and for allowing us to store stuff in his extra bedroom (and helping us transport stuff out of our apartment). Thank you Filip if you are reading this and helping us
