Yellowstone National Park is a true wonder of this world. It is hard to describe it with words. It sits on top of one of the most active volcanic areas so there is steam, boiling water and strange things happening everywhere. wildlife and vegetation is also miraculously rich. We got to stay at The Old Faithful Lodge, which is a very central location and next door to an amazing geyser that erupts every 92 minutes (+/- 10 min.) How precise it is is beyond understanding. It shoots a huge column of boiling water as high as the eye can see! There are pathways that take you to all the major geysers and volcanic formations from hot springs to pools to mud pots.... see the pictures for yourself, it is really hard to express what we saw. Huge surprise on the morning of the 2nd day: we looked out of our window and it was snowing!!!! It didn't last long but it was fun!!

The pictures are fantastic. I really want to go, but I don't think I will go in the fall if there is a chance for snow. Love, Mom
