We have been able to get away from Sydney on a side trip to Coffs Harbour and then, more recently to Melbourne, Seymour and Albury.

Most small country towns have a picturesque corner pub like this one where the local 'cockies' (farmers) gather while their wives do the shopping.

Nice views and a cool rain forest walk made for an enjoyable outing.

We splurged for our last night...oysters, prawns, smoked fish & focaccia...yum! Washed down with a nice Aussie white of course.

We did't even consider adding lobster to our seafood platter at this price...most get exported.
