Leaving Quito

Well its my last day in Quito before starting new adventures in Peru, i will be sad to leave this place as people have been really friendly, its a nice city and i have had such an amazing time.

The weather has been great in both Galapagos and Quito and i am pretty dark at the moment. I just did my laundry it cost me $2.30 for most of the clothes in my backpack and came back nicely folded and ironed...i wish i could do that at home!

Yesterday we went up a cable car Teleferico to 4000m, the view was amazing but the altitude really hits you and it was bloody cold up there.

Well thats all from me in Quito...will write to you in Lima!

Good luck on the Lares tour! Elena and I are back in Philly ready (or rather unready!) to get back to the grind of work:( Enjoyed meeting you in the Galapagos. I'll start work on creating a yahoo group over the weekend...bye for now
