we bought tickets to ride.....we bought tickets to ride.....we bought tickets to ride.....

....then asked the chap who sold them to take a picture of us. He was very jolly and had to go through the rain to do it.
Caroline, Ineke and I managed to find a day when no-one was working (or otherwise engaged ) and have a Londis Ladies day out, though only Caroline still works there! She fancied going to Portmadog on the train, which is a beautiful two hour ride with the train very close to the sea most of the while. Maybe November not the best time to do it, it was wet and windy, but guess what, it didn't matter. And although it was really chucking it down as we got off the train, once we left a handy coffee shop, it had cleared a bit and we were able to have a walk round and look at the harbour as well as collect a cache or two.

wet and windy
just like Wellington - you look all 'rugged' up for the weather so I am sure you kept warm!! It's nice to go out for a day trip no matter what the weather..
