we got drunk here later this day. That night ots of dudes on sportbikes drove really slowly down the road revving their engines really loud, backfiring and then everybody disappeared. The cafes all closed and I think everybody goes dancing, but not us. That'd be a sad sight.
Okay, so...we hopped on the bus and busted out of Tangiers. Crazy place. Like we mentioned before, we bought a gorgeous carpet in Casablanca, which is a shopping bazaar just outside of thier Casbah (a fortified castle-building like place). It´s literally a work of art, registered and everything. Won´t be able to use it until we´ve moved into our new place though. Anywho..the fast ferry from Tangiers to Tarifa was a very rough ride; the straight of Gibraltar is pretty choppy. From Tarifa we travelled up to Seville which is another major city in Spain. It´s gorgeous and here we did a lot of walking to see a bunch of the sights. Lots of old cathedrals and monuments, what else is new. Saw the statue of Don Giovanni and walked down the street he had his premonition of his death. One evening we went to an exhibit in another al-casabra (I think that´s the spelling) which was very similar to the Alhambra in Granada. I think this one is better restored or preserved though. Lots of Moor influence. The Moors are the muslims that were here before the Spaniards kicked them out, and they came up from North Africa and stuff.

Incredible artisans, just wait till you see the pictures. In Seville, we finally got around to meeting the only other young couple on the tour, a couple from St. Louis named Larry and Melissa, and they are good people. We really enjoyed their company, they were pretty funny and had similar outlooks on life to us. Plus Larry knew the Big Lebowski verbatim, so we got along very well. A shame it took us till now to get to know them. We spent a couple evenings out late in some cafes drinking until they closed. Good times. Tried to do some shopping here, but all the women´s clothes are super small, the dudes all wear euro-fag shit and we really don´t get much time to shop in our free time. There is really nothing you can´t get back home, with the exception of some shoes, of which there are trillions. They like shoes here. Oh yes, and you´ll all be very happy to know that not only is the mullet still alive and kicking down here, it is thriving. It´s somewhat akin to an epidemic actually. Scary. All through Spain and Portugal, they likes their mullets. We are constantly in
