What an amazing place to end the trip...... NEW YORK....NEW YORK

Lo left me in Mexico with Shel, she had gone home a week before me to suprise her friends for their wedding. So it was just be an Shel in NYC for a week, and what a week it was was!

We arrived from the glorious mex sunshine to rain!! It didnt stop for the first few days... while we were doing the tourist things, getting soaked sitting on open-top buses etc! But New York amazed me from the minute I arrived, it is like no other place I have been to.

We stayed in an apartment, just off Time Square. We had a lovely view of the city from our window.. the Empire State building.

We did all the usual stuff.... coffee, deli's, broadway shows and oh my god... did we shop!! It was amazing for shopping, and as I was totally oblivious to how much money I didnt have, I went wild! Especially in the Apple shop on 5th Ave - which itself is a treasure. We spent about a day in Macy's....
It was fun at the time, and as I hadn't bought any clothes in a year, it was needed.
*justifying it to myself*

We spend our last day in Central Park... it was beautifully sunny, and a great place to hang out.
A great last day to such an amazing trip. New York is amazing... when can I come back?
