Beers, Tubes and Rivers
Enjoying an ice cold Molson Canadian beer while floating down the Vedder river in beautiful plus 30 degree weather. It was great to come back home. See all my friends and family I had not seen for over a year.
Arriving home I was suprised that my parents had not touched my room, it felt so good to sleep in my bed again.
Over the first week I spent a lot of time on the river with friends. Floating down Vedder river with tubes, dingies and case loads of beer over a 4 hour time span is the most relaxing enjoyable thing ever! I spent a couple nights in downtown Vancouver with more friends visiting some pubs and clubs. Went down south across the border with family to watch the Seattle Mariners vs. New York Yankees baseball game. Headed to Vancouver Island over a weekend to visit even more family as we toured Victoria, dipped in my cousin's pool, chilled out on the patio and went cliff diving into a river. I also spent a day up in Kelowna with friends and visited some additional family in Vernon.
One of the biggest events was my annual Bumper Boat Beer Keg Party with Karaoke, although I did not put it on last year, nor will I next year, it
Sunset over Vancouver Island
A beautiful sunset over Vancouver Island. has happened the 3 previous years in a row though. A massive 50 plus people came, mostly my high school grad class, some friends from BCIT and a few family members. I had two kegs of beer totaling about 250 pints of beer, bar-bq, and karaoke which I even got up a few times with.
I totally had a blast home, and can't wait to go back again for a few weeks in a couple years. I have to thank my mom for basically giving me her car and cell phone (mobile) while I was home, I even changed her voice mail to my own.
Thanks eveyone for an awesome time, see you in a while!
PS. Come to Sydney!

Cool pics.
When are you going to send me a few copies of those pics of us floating down the river? I'm glad I got a chance to see you while I was back home. Take it easy. Reeves.
