Everybody, sing along to this song...

Groovin', on a Sunday afternoon,Really couldn't get away too soon I can't imagine anything that's better The world is ours whenever we're together There ain't a place I'd like to be instead of.

Things I love.

5. Waking to birds chirping & swaying palm trees.

Hello all you beautiful people 😊

As previously mentioned, Saturday was a great day; we had breakfast on the beach, Al dived and all was right in our world.

Ava I think got too much sun on Friday. with the tour of the island and she was feeling sick/dizzy. But thankfully it passed and she had a great sleep to get ready to conquer the world yesterday.

After breakfast we stopped at a spa and got the girls hair cut and their hair nicely braided. All for around $20 total. Wow, and they looked so cute with their haircuts and their simple braids. We went back to the house, had a dip in the pool, and got ready to head to the beach to check out the fair/fishing derby.

The music was playing, huge tents were set up, and people were gathering to see the boats come in with their catches. A stand was set up with a scale so you could see the fish as they were brought in, weighed and then hung up.

It seemed to take a while so we popped into our favorite hangout for a drink, and the big screen TVs were showing the World Cup game between Brazil & Netherlands. Oh boy, Brazil got stomped again. Those poor guys, I think it's time to head out of town, somewhere like the Antarctica where they can escape the screaming mobs. sneers & jeers...Brazil will have to regroup and figure this thing out for sure.

Otherwise, when we did go back to the beach, there were 2 fish being weighed. The crowds were getting bored, until we heard a loud yell...up the beach comes an ATV with 4 guys running beside it holding onto this massive fish. It was HUGE. The issue was, it was so big that the stand that had been built to hang the fish was unable to hold up under the weight. This took some time to figure out, until finally they got the fish secured and weighed. I believe someone in the crowd said it came in around 450 pounds. Wow that is some kind of fish. We didn't wait for the rest of the boats to come in, it was hot and sticky and we wanted to escape it all.

We walked some more and found this little section with waterfalls and bars one in particular called Sushi Itto. We had a cold beverage and wanted to order some pork dumplings and chicken satay which sounded good. We were also trying to coordinate going out with the group for dinner back to the Italian restaurant where we had such a nice lunch. This has to be done via email between us and the house and we keep reminding the group to check their email. Coordination is key.

Dinner was pretty good overall; they do wood burning pizzas there so most of the girls had pizza. Al & I shared that fabulous salmon with the crispy pepper on top. Pat had shrimp and Ray mussels & clams. Marth ordered the daily special of lamb, and it wasn't seasoned as well as she'd have liked it. It was nice to sit out in the courtyard watching the busy-ness of 5th avenue. Last night all these chic people were out walking their dogs...They can be annoying (the chic people, the dogs not so much).

We were all pretty tired after a long day in the heat. We were awoken with a loud thunderstorm and heavy rain. Ahhhhh, love hearing the water bounce off the pool.

We're on our way to Beach BBQ day...There's a live webcam on the beach at Indigo Club. We're heading there shortly...around 3PM your time. Here's the link and we'll wave to you all once we get seated. I'm in a white dress, Al is wearing a grey shirt and beige shorts. PS not sure if it's going to work; I think the camera is off line.
