Got up at 4.30am to get to the airport. Ended up walking to Victoria station to get the train to Gatwick as the buses only go every 30 mins and the walk took just over 20 mins.

Will write more about Malta later.

This is where I stayed. Nice hotel, good restaurants and pool overlooking the sea.

I had a cheap room so not overlooking sea, but was on top floor and could still see the harbour.

Path into town

It was about a 15 min walk into town, but it was along this path the whole way, so was okay.

The water was very clear, and a brilliant shade of turquoise in areas.

Coast

Alot of the coast was just rocky like this, but it gets deep quite quickly so good for fishing. Lots of stone forts as well everywhere left over from when they were constantly invaded.
