Marsaxlokk

Walked round St Thomas's Bay and over the cliffs and round the coast to Marsaxlokk the next town/village over. This is also just a major fishing village so I had a nice dinner of fresh fish after my 2 hour trek to get there. And before it had completely sunk in that I had to walk 2 hours to get back home again.

Track over the cliffs
Walked down these tracks surrounded by fields with stone walls that all have these weird blocks of wood on iron poles sticking out all over them. Have still not worked out what they were for.

Blocks of wood on iron poles
They are used by bird trappers. They place cages with birds in them on the blocks to attract other birds as far as I know.
