This morning I'd booked a taxi/minibus to take Mum out to look at the Christmas decorations in our local garden centre. I hadn't told her previously so it was a big surprise, but she was up for it and although she looked tired afterwards, I think she enjoyed it. That's the first time we've taken her out for ages, but now we've found a taxi man who can deal with a wheelchair, the world's our oyster.
