fried grasshoppers-tastes like chicken... with no meat
We flew back to Bangkok for a couple of days of "shop til you drop". We decided to get suits and dresses made since Bangkok is known for its worldclass tailors who can recreate top designer styles. That was fun. I went in not knowing if I actually was interested but decided it couldn't hurt to have one good suit...and then that turned into jacket, pants, skirt, blouse, and a gorgeous silk dress (that I will wear to my brother's wedding). We sat down and looked at designer label magazines of different styles, picked ones we liked, got the tailors opinions of what would look good, looked at three different qualities of material, haggled about the price, and then finally were measured. The next day, they sent a van for us to come to our fitting, where they took everything in and at midnight they delivered everything to our hotel in time for our flight out late the next morning to Taiwan. Everything turned out amazingly well.

At the night market, Wendy and I both found bags. I bought a rip-off Lowe Alpine small backpack that I am very happy with. The only give-aways that it's fake are the price

($10) and the lettering on the label which is a tad off.

Before heading home, we decided to try one of those fried grasshoppers we kept seeing. It wasn't bad. It wasn't good exactly either. Mostly it was just crunchy.

Grasshoppers
Hi Those grasshoppers are crazy. I tried them once, though I was fine at the end of eating them a friend of mine tried it and he had to take the anit allergy tabs to get rid of the allergy after eating one of those. I think that its good to taste them for once but I do not relish eating them.
