Master Guide

This gent guided us through the hospital cave on cat ba island. After Dai, Kiwi, and myself all posed for a photograph (shirtless of course because it is deathly hot), this guide stripped so that he could get in on the photo action. What a funny old man.

Another Sunset

The sun was kind enough to set for us as we floated into the bay where we dropped anchor for the night. This is the view from the top deck of our junk... spectacular.

After a long day in the sun my skin need some attention. In the words of the Diddy, "I'm just moisturising my situation... you know... preserving my sexy"

Full moon party

Top deck on our boat wasn't exactly a thai island full moon party, but I can't think of many places on earth that I would have rather been on this full moon... August 9th 2006. We

Not really what its called, just that they had these really cheesy colored lights in the cave which gave it a very disney like feel. Nonetheless the caves were really spectacular.

Kiwi fighting an uphill battle to get on to our ship. It took so much focus to get up that slippery/steep wooden plank, but not too much to pass up a photo opportunity like this.

All of us ready to take on Cat Ba national park. This is the start of a spectacular bike ride through beautiful jungle and rice fields.

The entrance to the hospitcal cave. A cave that was used as a hospital in the American War. Absolute genious.

Ummm... this doesn't feel right

At this point we were all a little unsure as to why the guide had us lined up. It was particularly worrisome because when we arrived at Cat Ba National Park we saw about 5 workers assembling a machine gun. Felt too much like we were getting lined up for the worst. But not to worry, soon enough be broke into song.

Typical KiwiTypical Kiwi
Typical Kiwi

Kiwi has a talent to sleep in this awkward position. He does it every time we are on a transport vehicle, in this case on our boat. You catch sleep when you can because with so much to do its hard to justify getting a good night sleep to really rest your body.

Dude, these pictures look awesome. The flips off the boat remind me of the bvi. I wanted to see a picture of your junk though (the boat kind). Take it easy and keep preserving that sexy.
