Fish day 5

Another killer breakfast today and off to the fishing holes we went. As usual we all went to our favorite places (usually the last place we caught something). Joe and I had no luck at our spot so we tried our second choice but Uncle Terry and Pat and John had already staked their claim so we decided to go to the rock in Adrian Bay (this is we're Joe and I went the last time we were up here and the winds kicked up and I thought we'd never make it back), and the weather was ok and I caught a nice walleye, and we ended up spending the rest of the day there and did quite well. We got Dad and Rex to join us but wouldn't you know, the fishing slowed down. Joe did catch a good one right before we headed back in for the Wednesday fish fry. Once we got back we found that Uncle Terry and the boys had another good day and caught a few walleyes. The fish fry was very good and had some great talk with some of the other folks staying here. After dinner Joe and Pat and myself went out to try our luck for a bit and second cast I had a nice northern pike. Pat and Joe caught a smallmouth and made the trip worthwhile. Now back to the lodge for some relaxation and maybe a beer or two. Hoping for another good day tomorrow.

Come on, King James, catch a fish! I see that happy hour is still intact, with pretzels and cheese dip out on the bench. What did Joe eat on fish-fry night? I'm guessing left-over chicken lasagna. Glad to hear the ugly sticks aren't letting you down. Hey since Annie is getting better at surfing, can we go on a surfing vacation next year :) (I can't make a fish out of punctuation!)
