Lamb shank at a restaurant in Noosa town
Lamb shank is a typical food of the Australians. I love food so whenever I travel, I always take photos of the local food. During my few months in Australia, I really enjoyed food in this country. The Australian food is really delicious and I tried to take any chance to taste it. I like sea food like salmon, oyster, fish as well as barbecue of meat like beef, lamb and chicken. I have tasted shark meat, venison and kangaroo meat but was not impressed. Cakes are often too sweet for me. Pies are quite fatty and I don't eat hamburgers unless I have no choice. Fish and chips is very popular in the country but I only tried once. I also enjoy food of other countries such as Japanese sushi, Tibetan momos, Turkish kebab, Chinese dumplings (famous brand name Yum Cha), Thai and Vietnamese food. Another thing I like about this country is that there are various kinds of fruits, herbs and vegetables.
Barbecue is a typical cuisine culture of the Australians. You can see people making barbecue in public places or at home. I was so excited to join a barbecue party which my friend organised on my first trip to Australia. There were two Australian families
and they used beef, veal and hot dogs to make barbecue. They also used various sauces and vegetables for making hamburgers.

Hi Hong Ha, I really enjoyed watching Steve Irwin's shows on television. The trekking at Glass House Mountains looks interesting.
