Day 6 Only 3 states today

Well today started the first day of "super slab" travel. We had to get to Davenport. There is a real nice Days Inn I recommend with a restaurant called the Iowa Machine Shed. Ecco Domani was 6 oz for $4. Food excellent and plenty of it! Borrowed my music ear phones from Ralf and listened to music on way to Davenport. The music does make me not as vigilant mentally of my surroundings. I didn't do anything as crazy as stand on the pegs and dance, but I did find myself wanting to go very, very fast depending on the song. If Iget home with no wrecks, no tickets and my hearing it will be a miracle.. Road tip: Stay away from mini vans with I Love Gospel Music bumper sticker and 11 kids jumping around inside. I am thinking he loves something else,just stay in your lane dad and start lovin' some bourbon at night! Okay, Harley Broad, riding in a halter top and shorts may look "cute" but by the time you arrive at your destination you will look like an unwrapped mummy with a straw wig, good teeth and eyes. Geez
