I'm not sure why but I've missed a day at some point (should be up to day 22). Anyway today we disembarked the cruise ship in Athens. This morning we all said goodbye and went our different ways. Some of us were staying in Athens for a bit longer so this morning I went sightseeing with a few others. We saw Zeus's temple, visited the museum and saw the Parthenon at the Acropolis and then took a horse and cart back to the city (yes, we did, through all the traffic and everything, everyone gave way to the horse!). It was amazing and the museum was great! I'm now in Lufthansa's business class room. Unfortunately they have no showers at the airport so I'll be feeling sticky and gross for about 36hrs. I've managed to go to the bathroom and wash my face and done the cheapskate thing of pretending to be interested in perfumes and spraying them all over me so at least I'll smell nice for a while. Anyway like most of the passengers on board I still feel like I'm still on the ship as it was extremely rough last night so the whole room is swaying right
Athens
Changing of the guards, Greek style!now (and it's been 10hrs since we were on it). We did a bit of dancing last night and it was so rough that we were dancing from one side of dance floor to the other every time the boat moved. Ok well there is a business man who looks like he wants to use this computer (there's only one) so I'd better share it. I will try and put photos up in Bangkok if I can get near a computer. Bye for now!
