I had such a long day. A good day, but long. Joohee and i walked to westlake, finally! It was a gorgeous day, warm with a nice breeze. We walked to the other side of the lake, to the shopping district. We hit the expensive shops first, on accident. The clothes were uglllllyyyyyy and way over priced, we stopped for coffee (second time today) to take a break. We asked the coffee lady where she shopped and she pointed us in the right direction. We trekked over to a jackpot aka super cheap awesome chinese clothes and gadgets. We wondered around looking at weird styles and outfits. I found some cool stuff but nothing in my size! Everything is soooo small. And im small! Anyways i decided to buy french fries from mcdonalds.. Bad i know. But i was craving something familiar.. I dont even eat mcdonalds at home, but yum, french fries! We walked around for a little bit but we had walked all day so we decided to catch a cab home. NOT, not one cab would take us back because we were across town during rush hour. We dragged ourselves towards the lake and tried to catch a cab again. Nope, no such luck. We stopped by the lake side to rest our feet. We decided to take a random bus towards the general direction of our dorm. A nice chinese couple told us where we could get off closest to our school. We FINALLY made it back. All i had was 2 coffees and a french fry all day so i was starving! One of our classmates zaki took me and joohee to a hole in the wall down and around the block for soup and noodles. Yumm! And it was less then an american dollar. Sweet! On our way back i bought a sweet purple bike!!!!! I got a lock, and a basket, and the nice bike shop dude gave me a free bell!! A brand new bike plus accessaries for less then 40 bucks! Hells yeah! Its awesome and beautiful, and if i cant find a helmet asap my mom is gunna freak out! Haha love you mom, and i promise to ride safe, and as soon as i find a helmet i will buy one! I promise! They drive like crazy people around here.. There are no street rules, everything is just a suggestion. Im so excited to ride it tomorrow!
