Finally

Hello!

After I got some complains that I don't write often enough and that I don't tell anything, I finally got motivated by Jenny to start this journal. Here you guys can see what I am doing on the other side of the world.
For almost a year I live in paradies now. And I only left the island twice- to go to Big Island and to California. Where I will go again soon!!! Yes!
I will hopefully be motivated enough to post here. But most likely it won't be up to date soon. ;-)
Right now I am too lazy to post the most important thing: pictures! But they will follow soon.
Ok, here a brief summary what I am doing:
I run
I go to college
I work
I organize the GSA
"I do certain other things"
People who know me know that I am crazy about running. Actually, it is even worse than in Germany. I run 9-10 times a week and my team is my college: HPU! On Sunday I won a beach race in Kailua.
College is easy here, but soo much work. The American system is: assignments, assignments...it is not very difficult, but a lot. I got used to it.
I also work at HPU. My title is 'International Student Assistant". Basically I answer all the questions of the international students who plan to come to HPU. In addition, I do some office work (filing, labels etc.) And I give campus tours, which is really interesting, because I meet students from all over the world. So if one of you guys wants to study here( which would be AWESOME), you probably write to me at some point. Or maybe you even call???
GSA= German Student Association. I am the secretary, but right now I organize most of the stuff. The last event was some volunteering work at Kaneohe Bay.
Soo, and most of you are probably interested in "the certain other things" But as you all should know- I am a nice little girl and don't do any bad things ;-) and I am too young, in the US you have to be 21 to have a kind of interesting life. Yeah, but I will tell you some of my weekend adventures.

Na du, und du sagst immer, du waerst nicht kreativ? Ich sehe hier jede Menge Kreativitaet aus deiner Feder bzw. der Tastatur. Die Story vom Bee-Beach ist lustig :-) Ingo
