Another day another lost card/wallet.

well we've been here 4 days now and lost heaps of cards. The latest incident occurred on the beach this morning after stumbling home from a rather large night out on the Sangsom buckets (Sweet Rum and Coke). What a night though, I blame Mark....

We have made it to Ko Samet an island to the east of Bankok and it looks like we'll be here for a while waiting for our care package from the bank - however we still have our trusty commonwealth bank card (the last of them all). Spent the day yesterday missioning around the island on a motorbike and a bit of snorkelling just off the beaches and rocks. The roads leave a bit to be desired and nearly saw us come off the bike a few times however skillful driving display by Monsieur Fennell (Richards) kept us upright.

All is good though we have laughed our heads off about it all day along with everyone else we met last night and all the Thais down on the beach - even the coppers had a good chuckle...

Some generous Poms lent us some cash (ha there are some good ones!! you included Rimesy) and now we're heading out to dinner with them...

if you cant get down south, make sure you check out the night markets in ChangMai and get to Pai for a couple of days. Its fantastic. Hire a big bike from ChangMai and ride up, visiting the hot springs on the way. Anything at the markets will sell for 40% of the asking price, dont seem too keen, and you can get them right down. Get a fucking chain and bolt your shit to your body. Novice travellers, Jeeeeaazzzzz...........! Oh yeah, and I need a favour if you're back in Bangkok. In Khoa Shan road you can buy university degrees. If you find one for under 2000 Baht lemme know and I'll send you the cash. Good Luck. Try not to fall off ya bike and lose shit. hey Michelle, Richo, sorry to hear about your travails with thieves etc. must be a bummer having to wait for replacements. A bit like Council i suppose. :) Michelle we have managed to organise all 3 (Jiao, Rhys AND Maddy) to go to San Jose. The UNESCO end is still chaotic but we're trying. general: what have you been doing? bill murray: trying sir!!!!! keep your bags under your arm. have absolutely no suggestions for what to do with valuables while swimming.
