At last, no more sleeping on the ground
After wasting 3 days hunting for a decent kombi we decided not to waste any more time and to rent a car for this year, so that is what we have done.

Friday we went to the local caravan shop to get a regulator for our new gas camping fridge and just happened to have a look at a couple of caravans there.

Anyway we suddenly decided that as we weren't going to buy a vehicle this year we would buy a caravan instead – well it made perfect sense to us at the time. We had seen the perfect one for us, tiny on the outside with everything we need on the inside, we don't want to bother with towing a big heavy van and we don't need much space really, just somewhere to sleep and sit if it is cold and wet.

We both decided it was just right so thought we would think it over at the weekend and make a decision, although really it was only an academic exercise as we knew we wanted it but we do try to at least pretend to be sensible. Anyway, come Monday and we have paid a deposit and signed for it so can use it on our trip to Kruger in a couple of weeks.
