AHHHH HARRO.

We have thankfully left the humidity, dust and ping pong pimps in Bangkok for the quiet surroundings of Chang mai.

Bangkok was an interesting place and we managed to see alot in our few days. We went to visit the Sleeping Buddha, Golden Palace, got drunk on Khao San Road, got hassled at markets, experienced the luxury of the Siam centre and ate the best rice burger.

We travelled 9 hours on a nightbus. Apparently it was VIP but with garfield throws and the blocked toilet i doubt that their VIP is the same as ours, Although i hate to imagine what the upper deck was like.

We stopped briefly for our included dinner which Craig described as pork shrapnal and bull testicles but we ate one anyway! When in Rome!!

We managed to sleep quite a bit suprisingly and no thanks to the excessive speeeed the driver was going at. i swear we were on two wheels at times.

Tomorrow we have a trek through the national park booked. We are walking and camping through forrests and villages that house only 21 people. Should be an experience and it looks like Craig's hooooge camping torch will actually come in handy and maybe even that whistle too.

Tonight we are having a beer and listening to some live music at our hostel.

It's a bloody hard life...
