This morning I woke up and rolled onto my back, stared at the ceiling and thought about what job I had to go to today.. 5 seconds later I recalled that I had quit my jobs a few weeks back and I.. yes I.. only had three more mornings to wake up here in Victoria... It was an odd feeling but it made my toes tingle and I've decided that often means that something good is going to happen (or that my foot has fallen asleep).
I just got back from camping on the Cowichan Lake and I have to say it was beautiful, there is nothing like watching a glorious sunset with a good close friend... accented with Eagles flying over head and the finale of the evening of a billion million stars. Managed to get in some fishing, which resulted in watching 3 inch fish eat my bait while the canoe was tossed around in white cap waves, alot of sun, tubing down the river which was fabulous! I never get sick of the clear water and trees, loads of sun and no cares in the world... oh and a cold beer definatly makes the trip THAT much better.
Sunday I leave first thing and head up to Powell River to spend two nights with my birth mom and than back down to Vancouver...
3 days and counting.. and alot.. ALOT Of cleaning to do.. damn.. Why can't it do it itself?
