Arriving in San SebastianArriving in San SebastianArriving in San Sebastian

The train looks as though it's from early 1980's, but it does its job.
We arrived at 10.44, found the tourist-info and had just had time to sit down outside considering where to start looking for a hostel to stay. A girl walks up and recruits us to their hostel with a speach of the basque culture. She manages to find us three beds - not exactly cheap by €26, but ok considering where we are and not booking ahead quite ok. They also arrange lots of events such as the traditional basque dinner that I think we'll be trying tonight.

Havn't had time to do much more here today, it's too cold and windy to stay at the beach. They say it's supposed to be expensive here, but after a good dinner with newly made juice for under €7 (remember - we just came from Paris and live in Sweden...) we're liking the situation.

We're gonna stay here till saturday and try to find a train to take us to Porto in Portugal by then. Tried earlier but the clerk at the train-station was all but helpful, so I'll have to look up the trains myself and let them know what routes are available it seems. Anyway, internet time is up. I'll write more as soon as I can when I get to Portugal.

Hej!
Too much. Kramar
