This morning I saw one of the most beautiful sunrises that I think I've ever seen. I have never witnessed them sun being not only as large as it was but as red. My new goal for the next 6 months is to make as many sunrises as possible, with the goalof creating one of those time elapsed collages things. But for serious if you have any desire to wake up at 430 am, bike 10 k jump over a bunch of wire fences, and climb up a 7 foot stone wall to sit on an old WW2 beach bunker to look out over the ocean and experience magic, please dear god either bring a spare battery for your camera or at least charge it the night before. I was able to get a 2 good photos off before I saw the blindly red light then nothing... And literally right as the camera turned off I saw the sun break the horizon.. But alas I was able to sit And enjoy that beautiful sunrise ontop of a cold stone bunker that was used to defend Belgiums coast. I will be back there again to get the photos that I need.

Sunrise
Pretty nice, Pup. Brings me back. I pulled a surface watch up on the bridge of my boat--like the opening of a big round trash can--at the Artic Circle. Up there, its nothing, I mean nothing but stars and big, big, huge sky. As far as you can see, forever sky. Will never forget that I got to do that. And I got $303.90/month plus $110 sub pay. Think about where you were sitting and what might have been going on back in the day. Matty, I'm enthralled by your blog notes--great stuff! xxxpops
