We travelled about 300kms today (Monday) passing through some amazing scenery round lots of bays and up hill and down dale. We spent the night in a converted Freight train carriage!

Today (Tuesday) has been another long day but we did stop for 2 hours to visit the Kauri museum. We have ended up at the foot of the Coromandel Peninsula which we intend to explore over the next couple of days. Motel is very nice a roomy wih pool, sauna and spa.
