LOCATION: Camden to Acadia

Camden Hills SP was a lovely area and we hoped to hike and bike, but the rain got in the way. We walked through Camden in the early morning. Camden is a harbor town built on a river and has a panoramic view of Pennobscot Bay, cute little shops, etc. We drove back to Camden Hill SP and up to Mt. Battie and tried to get some photos, a bit foggy and rainy. Undaunted we continued onto Belfast (guess how it got it’s name) another harbor town with wonderful shops. Off we continued to Acadia NP for the night. The song “A Rainy Night in Georgia” doesn’t quite make it, actually it was pouring all night. It was nice to be warm and dry in our little cocoon, the Bothan.
