LOCATION: Acadia to Lubec, ME
Acadia NP. Again we thought we would do some hiking but it was a downpour all day. So we drove into Bar Harbor and did the tourist thing for a while. We visited the Abbee Museum, a Native American Museum of the area , quite interesting. We continued our drive to the Eastermost town in the US---Lubec, ME. We drove out to view the West Quoddy Lighthouse, the easternmost point of land in the USA. The winds had to be 50 mph plus, and the rain was steady, we tried to get some photos. Then on we forged to a campground for the evening. The wind is incredible as we are perched above the sea, watching a crazy man dig for clams in the wind and rain. Good-night.
