Again been solo busy
On Wednesday and Thursday we ventured off to a little town called ballarat where Australia made many rich millionaires through gold panning. Chlo and I tried our hand at it but only found a few small flecks which we were later told had been put in the river to give people a sense of achievement haha never mind a few gold flecks richer none the less 😊
The evening before we had been to see a sound and light show of the story of how ballarat became to be ballarat as you might guess it all began with a drunk Irish man in a pub ha and the story was quite interesting on how Australia came to have democracy, pretty brutal but Australia wouldn have been the country it is today without that battle!
We stayed in a motel that night with a swimming pool in the car park... Quite funny walking through the car park to get to it ad have people park up next to their rooms for the night 5 meters away from us swimmers!
After our swim me nik kel and chlo went for a curry which was nice despite Chloe's chicken Korma being a pork Korma and not bothered waitress with peroxide blonde but turning purple hair! After the light show we headed back quiet tired from our day of traveling through lovely Aussie scenery and pulled up at our door, where we were welcomed in by a medium sized huntsman spider who scuttled off as we screamed the car park down and resident cockroach in a tea cup we'd left out before we left ( all 4 girls screeching)
The days seem to be running away from me now
Friday we headed back from ballarat and went out that evening to see a signer Nikki likes called josh pike who was very good and then headed back to Nikki's friend Becky were we had a few drinks but were so tired could really stay awake
Saturday we headed off for the races was a lovely day and we found a lovely spot under a big tree and ate drank and chatted whilst betting on a few horses. Won 80$ which is about 40-50 quid so was happy with that and stopped whilst I was up 😊
Sunday we just chilled out thankfully back on phillip island at a beach in a place called San Remo were some sting rays came to see the girls in the water I stayed away and watched them from the pier and I didn't want to get barbed ha!
Came back to the beach house and it was little Jordan's 8th bday and had a lovely BBQ with nikkis family and friends ... Played a good game of cards and came 2nd woooo 😊

Hiya babbells oh my gosh. firstly i am annoyed i have not been able to see these til now. I lost the invite emails and only just managed to get a forwarded email from mum. secondly i;ve been so bloody stressed with work (not been going well at all) i haven;t have seconds to think about trying to chat to you. i know you are having your own unique experience but it all sounds so familiar just the amazingly happy chilled funness of it all. im so happy you're finally experiencing it! i got your post card thanks very much its lovely :). Defo need to see some pics tho - is there a prob with the 2 memory cards you took with you?! why you looking for a new one? anyway i hope I get a chance to chat to you at the weekend - wont get a chance before then fo sho! lots of love and try to remember every second....apart from the hunstman,,, lol xxxxxxx
