England!, England!

Made the big mistake of leaving Monkey in the hotel while I went up to London. Left the TV on to World Cup. It was crazy in London as England won it's second World Cup match. I literally saw someone cherring so loud at a goal that he fell out the pub door into the street.

Had my mussels and saw Jeremy Irons in a play. FYI, anyone travelling to London has to have at least 1 meal at Belgo Centraal. Belgium food featuring a wide variety of mussel dishes. The fritte, which are basically french fries, are also good. And yes 'Pulp Fiction' fans, they do serve them with mayonaise.

By the way, England won. I think World Cup madness may be over before I get back to England. OK, got back the "Hotel Tropical" about midnight, and Monkey has become a rabid England fan. Made me get him a entire football kit, shoes and all.

No pictures from here on out, as the ship won't let strange computers connect to their network. Will try and send postcards when I can. Outlook on my laptop ate the address book. Hotel Tropical
Sounds like you and Monkey are still having a blast. I leave for India tomorrow morning for my own Tropical Retreat. Hope you are still thinking of wanting to do a ~3 month India stay. Nothing final yet but I need to know if you are still interested. Have Fun.....................Bill
