No snow yet so no real work. It has been raining a lot so I have stayed inside and read and played cards. My roommate Jack and I decided to trek to Munich so we took the train there but it was rainy and miserable so we came straight back after grabbing an expensive lunch at the Hacker-Pshorr Haus. Today, I worked with the kid's program Just For Kids. Five of us hung out with eight little people from ages 4 to 12. We drove them all around town and went hiking and bowling. They have a playhouse that has every game I have ever wanted: foosball, pool, airhocky, ping-pong, xboxes, wiis, a ball pit, etc. We watched them from 0800 till 1615. It was exhausting. Tomorrow, I'm on warehouse duty. I don't even know what that means but it sounds tedious but work is work. I hope my next update is snowy!!!

On a very somber note, my dad just emailed me that three very close friends of ours have died in a plane crash. Trish and Kim Woliver had two sons: Alex and Eric. We called them our cousins. Trish and my mother took turns raising Alex, Eric, my sister and me. Our dads worked together and flew small aircraft also. This Thanksgiving Kim, Trish, and Alex died in a plane crash. Eric took a different flight. Please pray for the deceased and please pray for Eric as he embarks on his journey of grief. Thank you.

Hey Jesse. You are doing a good job keeping us posted on your activities. Pretty cool that you are experiencing this. Of course Bianca and I have a vested interest because we know that area well and it is one of our favorite places to visit. Never been there in the winter though. I know what you mean about the BX being small. It has a few things when needed. Don't forget time and money permitted to check out the gorge and the top of the Zugspitze(sp?) I am not sure how things run and are open during the winter, but two great destinations. Lake Eibsee is cool too. Do they let you eat at the Edelwiess buffet or any of the restaurants? The bar and grill they have near the pool area is nice. You will I am sure experience some of the great food in town in time. Is your living quarters on the same compound as the resort? Well take it easy and we look forward to more updates.

Hey Gary, I just got your comment. It only took about three months! Sorry, I have skied Zugspitze and have passed through Eibsee. We eat left overs from the buffet and stay in a refurbished hospital on the north side of town. Find me on facebook: jesse ray or email me: jesseraylassit@gmail.com, I check those a lot more than this!
