Bry and Nick... 5amBry and Nick... 5amBry and Nick... 5am

And lookin still good :D
So the day started off at roughly 4:30am PST... Getting up, having a shower, doing some last minute packing and such...

We took the 7am ferry, we were the last car to get on! Raj's parents drove us the entire way, so that was pretty sweet. Managed to save Bryan and myself atleast $35.

We were at the airport by 9:30... Our flight didn't leave until 2:50pm... We hung out the airport doing random things, but mainly reading books and such...

Our first flight out of Vancouver went to Shanghai. The flight took a little over 11 hours, and we landed around 5pm in Shanghai... I think it's like 14 hours ahead of back home.... Didn't sleep a wink at all on the plane. Some dude on the other side of the plane kept opening up the window slot every 5 mins! Dude... The sun wasn't going ANYWHERE!!! Man... So ya... COuldn't sleep at all on there.

We landed in Shanghai, and the airport was pretty big. We managed to find our way around, but had like 5 more hours to kill before our next flight! We walked around the airport, and we coulda bought a 26 of something for the price of getting 3 beers in the little cafes there. We didn't end up getting anything though...

During the flight, it ended up being Will's bday... He said he downed a couple glasses on wine along the way to celebrate... Hah... Bryan and I had some beers as well...

When we finally landed in Bangkok, it was around 1:15am in Bangkok... I figure I was up roughly 30+ hours at this point... Goin a little nuts... But just landing there gave us all this HUGE adrenaline rush and we were all up. We took a taxi to Kao Sahn Rd which is where all of the backpackers stay and found this place my cousin Noel told me about. We managed to get some rooms at D&D Inn, which is like this SUPER nice place along the road. Roughin it? Hardly... Hah...

After checking in, we went out for a bit... It was around 3am at this point, and we were walkin around having some drinks till around 5am and we finally crashed.

I woke up around 8:30 this morning and grabbed a bite to eat, and it was pretty good... BUt I'd

hardly call it breakfast. Fried rice, curry chicken, and eggs... Not a bad breakfast to start this trip 😊

Anyways... Here's some pics from yesterday. I'll get some more stuff posted throughout the trip 😊

Hope everything is going good back home. And Michael, hopefully you didn't get TOO messed up on yer bday :P

Cya!
