We were parked on the west landing field which turned into a quagmire after two days rain, so we retreated up to a nearby picnic spot. The main (east) landing field had now been ploughed and Phil decided he really didn't fancy running through the mud or de-rigging his glider in it. So after Phil visited Frans in Cadiz hospital we decided to move on.

We drove up to Coripe and went for a bike ride along a disused railway, 20km up to Olvera and then back, I actually managed to keep up with Phil, but only because he was feeling rather poorly with a cold!

On to look at two more flying sites which for various reasons Phil didn't like. I think he should trade his rigid for a paraglider so we can give up searching for fields big enough to land a jumbo jet in. Actually this is a massive olive growing area and any fields without trees in are few and far between. They have begun harvesting the olives here and although I am not sure what they are doing to them, the smell is quite noticeable!
