I finally wandered around a town!

Today to give Ryan some peace and quiet while he worked (something we are not getting tonight while trying to sleep thanks to the locals having a party involving a combo of loud techno and country music) I took Noah and the dogs for a short stroll down to the Dawson River, which is not far from the caravan park. After the dogs had a little splash in the creek, we headed back to the van to drop off the dogs (it is quite hot and a short walk was more than enough for them) and Noah and I continued into Taroom town centre via the river walk... fancy name for a dirt walking track 😊

There's quite a bit of history in Taroom and it was interesting reading the signs about Leichhardt and the region surrounding the town. The only thing the place is missing is a bakery, though I notice one is for sale.

A couple of familiar faces showed up today... yep our stalkers have caught up with us for a couple of days... my parents. Noah had mum on the run from the get go and it wasn't (but was funny) to watch them both fall over as mum tried to stop Noah falling down a slope... even funnier as Noah tried to pull her up before running off giggling. Noah does make every minute of the day fun, he just wants to go go go the whole time he is awake... even when we just want to sit sit sit.

Dad has given me the latest Matthew Reilly book to read and it is sitting on the cupboard taunting me, as I've decided I'm not allowed to touch it until I've finished my exams and there's no more study to do. It's not fair.. I want to read it now!

Still not sure when we are leaving here. I have exams in a couple of weeks that have to be done at the Taroom Courthouse, so we're thinking of moving on over the weekend and coming back the following week. Ah, so many hard decisions to make... stay and relax or go somewhere else and relax. Such a hard life... one that will be even better when I don't have to stay up late studying animal physiology.

Good night all, I'm off to see if I can sleep through the crappy

This was the result of Noah's dust up with a tree in Wondoan
country music and the yee-haas.
