At Knossos' Palace.
After the longest day of travel ever we finally made it to Spain last night (there were points we were questioning that).

We haven´t updated in a while so here´s a little update of what we´ve been doing.

Last time we updated was in Rhodes. Its a very cool medieval town. Thursday morning, we went to Crete. It wasn´t that great. We were in Heraklion, which is a dusty, ugly port town. We went to Knossos Palace, which basically some guy named Evans tried to excavate and completely messed up. Good going dude.

That afternoon the captain hauled it Santorini. We would have been okay skipping that and going straight to Santorini. It is absolutely amazing. The island is in the shape of a cresent. Basically we parked in the middle of a volcano. The towns are built way up on the cliffs. On our way back down we rode DONKEYS!!! It was awesome. I still have bruises from it but it was so fun! :-) We got to see the sunset as we were leaving. Hopefully we can post pictures soon because we have a ton of them.

We spent Friday and Saturday in Aegina. It is very laid back. Saturday night we ate gyros and just watched people walking up and down the street for nearly 2 hours. we were enjoying of all the 80s hair styles.
Early Sunday morning we took a Flying Dophine from Aegina back to Athens and then straight to the airport.

We sat in the smoke filled Athens airport from about 915am until about 8pm. We got on our flight which was supposed to leave at 6pm, but they canceled it while we were on it. Finally we left about 8. Made it to Barcelona, got our connecting flight and then got a cab to our hotel in Fuengirola. I think we made it in about 130am or so. It was a very long day.

We started school this morning. Doesn´t look like it will be too bad. Will try to add pictures soon!

Adios from España!

Our tour guide told us that they paint the domes of the churches blue because it is the color of the sky and so it melts in with the sky.

This is the donkey that wouldn't go, slammed me into other donkeys and tried to scrap me against the wall, but that's okay - we still had fun :-D

By this point we had no clean clothes and were having to resort to wearing our work out clothes. Good thing we did to because it was a long hot hike.

This was definitely worth the hike.
