Farewell South Island...... Boooo hoooo!

First of all a massively massive thanks for all the messages - its so nice to hear from you and what you have been up to - makes the very slight home sickness go away!!!! Thankyou!!!

Yesterday we stumbled accross a meat machine at the side of the road where you could buy salami and bacon mmmmmmmm

Right, today we have driven to Picton via Belnheim which is wine country, wineries galore and olive groves everywhere - we obviously had to stop mid morning for a sampling session - oh my god the wine is just amazing - we sampled quite a lot and bought a few too. It is a wine lover paradise!!!! So, continued into blenheim whichis nothing really to write home about but we had lunch there, and then carried on into Picton to camp for the night for the ferry tomorrow.

Suprisingly its a lovely little port town with cool shops and bars -= we are treating ourseleves to a night out tonight oooo i have even put some make up on!!!! such a treat!!!

BIG Event - Chris shaved his beard off today - thank god !!!!

Sick, both of us!!!! Totally sick with envy. New Zealand looks out of this world. I can't wait 'til you come back and show us all the photies and tell us all the stories. You'll be talking non stop for a couple of weeks I reckon. Poppy is very much looking forward to meeting you - she can't wait to be spoilt - we are very mean to her!!! In fact she is sitting with me as I write this trying to eat Marks key board and desk. We're off to scotland again next week and get back the day you get back. You're missing some really nice weather here at the moment its been about 25 degrees for the last 4 days and is set to be like this at least until sunday - but i'm sure you don't really care!!
