We are today in Pula.
Jen has been doing her master class in sailing.
Yesterday was hitches, today bowlines, slippery hitches and Spanish bowlines.
I have told her a a pass is a bowline behind your back in a laracas up the mast in the dark behind your back one handed. I won't repeat what she said to me as other wise this site may be closed down.
She is learning well....mastered sailing up wind in about half an hour....hate smart arses......and Ross you better watch out she is doing well.
Tomorrow we continue north....don't expect to reach Solvinia tomorrow but we are keen to get to Venice.
The whole place is magic...Jen is a trooper and just does whatever ....no complaints.
We are both working hard sailing and loosing weight which is good for me but not for her.
The yacht is just fantastic....everything works...she just slides along....waiting for 20 knots up the bum to stick up a kite.
We have an associate and a symmetrical so it should be fun!
Food is ridiculously cheap. We shopped for the next few days....two big bottles of beer, two whites, two reds, two tonic, eggs, pasta, mince, chocolates, veggies, sausages, nioki, sauce, cheese all for $80 bucks!
Having a great time...please pass on the blog to our friends,
Love to all,
Chris...dad...brother...friends

Pula
Hi Chris and Jen,I Googled Pula and now see its relationship with Venice-across the sea headed WNW. Are you going to hop around the coast headed North or at some point go across the open sea. Cheers Ross
