Hi Family and Friends,
Besides technical problems with the Internet and my camera, I am having a wonderful time here in Turkey. The people are gracious, the food is yummy and the history is amazing! Today we arrived in Bursa, a large city south of the Sea of Marmara, thus called because of one of it's islands was the source of marble for the Roman Empire. We are on the bus usually by 7:30 am and don't get back to our rooms until after 10 pm. Yesterday we visited the memorial sites at Gallipoli, the archeological site at Troy, swam in the Hellspont and finished the night eating dinner on a patio, watching the sun set on the Dardanelles.
Today we spent most of the day on the bus. On our arrival in Bursa we visited a HUGE bazaar and then went to a shadow puppet show. It is time for me to be at dinner so will try to write more tomorrow. Sorry about no pictures but my camera is not working. Luckily everyone else has offered to share their photos.

sounds like you are having a great time!
Wow! What an experience! That is to bad your camera is not working:( We are all doing well here. We had a great 4th of July weekend in Huntington beach! Today I walked in the bathroom and found Jacob standing in the toilet. That boy is everywhere! Chad spent the entire day putting extra shelves in the pantry and hall storage areas. We have plenty of storage now :) It rained here quite a bit today and the kids took umbrellas and played in the rain. Continue having your amazing adventures and hopefully we can see a picture soon! Lots of love, Amy
