I can FINALLY get on the Internet to let y'all know what I've been up to!

First off, either American Airlines or Delta misplaced my luggage and I only got it today an hour ago 😞 That was an AWFUL way to start a five and a half week trip. But now that I have it, everything will be better and more beautiful and better enjoyed.

So far I've had class from 9-12 every day and then some activity in the afternoon. Monday was a tour of Urbino, Tuesday was the Ducal Place, yesterday I went to the beach in Pesaro, today we are going to San Leo and Pennabilli (I think that's how you spell it...).....Actually, a combination of a bad Internet connection and little patience caused me to not get to post this until AFTER the day trip.

The ride to San Leo was awful: no A/C, bright sun, and mountain roads driven on by crazy Italians. When we finally made it up to the fortress, we were all green in the face. The fortress, and the rest of San Leo, is atop a hill/cliff and provided beautiful views of the surrounding hills and meadows. Another bus trip later, and we were in the picturesque town of Pennabilli. All the girls were gushing and all the guys were cranky because it was 7:30 and dinner time. HUGE meal and ANOTHER bus trip and it's 11:30 (really 12:15) and I'm on my bed writing this!

I'll try to write tomorrow, but no promises (I'm going to the beach in Pesaro again after class)!!

Sorry, I tried to upload some pictures, but the Internet's too slow 😞

Love,
Rachel
