Today we checked into a new hostel which costs 4 pound a night. But don't worry its not too bad and its in a really good place.
We took a taxi to Chinatown and had the best chinese lunch and Singha beer ever. We wandered around the shops seeing the shark fin and bird nest soup 😞. The streets stunk of dried fish. But we managed to find scotch pancakes 😊.
Then we headed to the MBK which is a massive 8-storey shopping complex. We found some really good fakes of Mulberry and other designers. After Dunkin' Donuts, we jumped in a tuk tuk back to the hostel. It was rush hour though and we were stuck in traffic inhaling the fumes for an hour!!
It hasn't been unbearably hot yet, but we've been in shade. After the torrential rain yesterday, we were prepared for it today, but it hasn't arrived.... yet!
We're now about to go out for dinner... guess it's noodles or rice again.
