Woke up few days ago and went outside and there were a few dead goats just lying there. Think they were newborns who had died. Pretty gross actually. Maybe the work of the spiders again? Not sure what to do with them, as they're kind of in my way. In England I used to work for St Helen's council just after high school and they had a dept called Bulky Rubbish (no Jon, that's not my nickname at footy) who would come out and pick up large items that couldn't go in the bin, but I don't think they have that over here. I told the other teachers at school and they just said leave them. So I just left them, and after 2 days they were gone. Not sure what happened to them actually. Avoiding goat-based meals for the next few days.

I have around 10 days left here now, and may do a bit of traveling around Ghana/Africa for the last 5 days. I was thinking of going north to Burkina Faso, or east to Togo, and sent a text to my dad asking him to Google them for me and see if it was safe. Text I got back about Togo was

"Stay away from crowds. Need a visa. But may get one on arrival. Or may not. Do not eat or drink. Get Immediate treatment for diarrhea".

Sounds brilliant. I can see why Adebayor left now. I think I might just play it simple and go to the coast as its meant to have a decent beach and my mate Dave in Canada recommended a place to stay at. A nice relaxing few days at the beach or 'do not eat and drink' and 'immediate diarrhea treatment'? Tough decision.

wonderful!
I take volunteers to Ghana and during the orientation I tell them that they absolutely have to have a sense of humor to survive in Ghana. I will show them this email !
